Take a guided tour and step back in time to experience a story for the ages, our great history preserved.


The Jekyll Island Club Resort is more than a cherished vacation destination – it’s a living historic site. With our Concierge as your guide, experience over a century of rich Club history by exploring the hotel, cottages, and grounds while listening to tales passed down over time.

Learn about The Island's rich history with a guided tram tour lead by The Jekyll Island Museum. This 90-minute experience takes guests through the 240 acre National Historic Landmark District and in two restored cottages.

Enjoy a tour of the beautiful Historic District on a horse-drawn carriage. During your ride, you’ll learn about several historic cottages, Faith Chapel, and the Jekyll Island Club Resort. Each carriage seats between 4 and 15 guests and tours are approximately 35 minutes.

Tuesday-Sunday from 10am in to the evening.
